In this system with these shooters CP3 could get it if Harden wasn't on the team, neither will come close while they're playing together though.

It's not necessary, and our front court scoring is not elite either. Harden and Paul are our best scorers too.

Not possible with two dominant ball-handlers.

Harden and CP3 are not about individual accomplishments this season.

    It’s about a championship.

CP3 is on a one year rental.

Additional year......Yet To Be Determined (by how far this team goes)

With Westbrook extended in OKC; it’s between Houston or Lakers (LA w/ possibly Paul George & LeBron) next year.

If one of them ONLY focused on getting assists, then yes, but we know that's never going to happen.

No, but more importantly, I think they can beat the record for most assists averaged by a backcourt duo. Do we know what that is?

CP3 is unbelievable and I am fully convinced he could get that if he were playing solo without Harden and averaging 40+ minute a night.

Of course, CP3 would suffer some sort of overuse injury halfway through the season in that scenario... so....

As much as I dislike Stockton and would love to see his record beaten, both CP3 and Harden are too good of scorers for that to happen and the fact they are playing together makes it even less likely.

    So no.

Also, we have a better team now than Stockton-Malone Jazz ever had. And that's what is more important
