Just got out of the theater.

Same level of greatness as the first.

Stoked to see this movie. Need something irreverent after the great-but-so-serious "Thanos Strikes Back".

Deadpool is my favorite character, Ryan Reynolds kills it as Deadpool. I've been waiting to see Cable in a movie since I was a kid, and Josh Brolin killed it as Thanos. You know I'm in here as soon as possible, maybe even tonight.

    Answer in SPOILER(!!!) bellow:
no relevant new X-man...well at least not on the "good" side. Lots of references to Xmen and others. Also stay put for the credits scenes.
Other than that, hilarious movie! (Like DP1) Reynolds didn't disappoint on the writing! Brolin killed it as Cable and Domino is on spot.

Really hoping for a third one!

In your opinion, is Deadpool 1 or 2 better?

    I got this.

There's a scene where they are in the X mansion and Deadpool is b****ing about the studio not spending to get them any other X-Men characters and it cuts to a look inside one of the rooms that has a large group of X-Men in it including at least the McAvoy Professor X, Quicksilver, Nightcrawler, Storm, Cyclops, and Beast in it and Beast that quickly shuts the door so that Deadpool doesn't see them.

It's so weird to me that this guy is playing Thanos and Cable at the same time.

I wanted a Cable movie so bad as a kid as well. I was all on board for Clint Eastwood as Cable

He pulls off Cable really well and I think Thanos had enough CG to where it doesn't look too obvious that he's playing both.

He's still too short (Brolin), but as long as they made fun of it I'm okay with it. :)

Marvel Studios doesn't prevent anyone from playing separate characters and Deadpool isn't MCU since Fox makes it. Also, since Thanos doesn't technically have Brolin's face I think casual moviegoers won't even notice they're the same person.

Probably 100% CGI to avoid paying them? Not sure, after B2TF I thought that became illegal.

It wasn't CGI at all, I looked into it and that scene
was shot by the director of the next X-Men movie while they were filming and they viewed it as sort of a promotional thing for their movie.

    Really good movie!

-The post credits scene is hilarious
-The x force team dying parachuting after the wind advisory warning
    -the references to batman
-The death scene at the end where deadpool is dying(same song as logan when he was dying)
    -his baby legs
-the cure for blindness next to the pack of cocaine at the beginning
    -the bond opening credits
-the music at the end of the juggernaut

I personally didn't like the movie as much as the first one, but I seem to be in the minority. All of the jokes that were either reused from the first one or were referencing jokes from the first one did absolutely nothing for me, and they were pretty prevalent. I also thought the story was fairly uninteresting.

I do think that the action scenes in this one are very good and are the standout portion of the film. Overall I'd give it a 6/10.
