    Reading all these quotes, plus the media day interviews, I'm beginning to allow for the idea that Melo just simply did not like playing with Russell...and more importantly, didn't know HOW to play with him.

    Along with the quotes @Deuce posted which speak to how much Harden and Paul believe in utilizing Melo to the best he can give at this stage, I like this quote, too:

    “At the end of the day I look at this as almost a clean slate for me, like a fresh start to get out there and have a new team, live in a new city, embrace new fans and also have fun playing basketball again,” Anthony said.​

    If we really want to win the Championship. Melo has to be a starter. I hope he can lead the nba in scoring this season.

    Melo's scoring is the key for us to win the championship. He could have 28 ppg if we give him freedom (free to shoot).

    I want what this guy's smoking...

    If the Rockets are playing a game and Melo is the lead scorer, they're most likely losing that game. Happened with Dwight also, if he's leading scorer Rockets lose. Hell, it happened in OKC last year.

    Melo can only score right now. We need to fully utilize his talent. I'd suggest he plays part time (15 minutes) center position because he is not quick enough to defense other positions.

    He is quick enough to guard any of the Pelicans: Randle, Nikola Mirotić, Holiday, ......

    u must be H-Town Melo’s new account...

    u really need to stop trolling...Melo isn’t the key to anything here, and he damn sure couldn’t average 28 ppg unless he averaged 30 shots a game to go along with it
