Does injury proneness run in the family? ;)

Knee injuries definitely run in the family.

Unfourtantly; his sister tore both her acl’s. Good thing they are still 3 upcoming Porters. One is 6’3 Guard he’s ehhh but they have a 9th grader who is 6’9. Willing to bet he gets injured too.

According to Alex Schiffer of the Kansas City Star, Missouri sophomore C Jontay Porter re-tore the ACL in his right knee during a workout.
This is brutal news for Porter, who originally tore the ACL during a preseason scrimmage against Southern Illinois. The sophomore center was in Denver, where his brother Michael is a member of the Nuggets, rehabbing the injury when he suffered the most recent injury during an on-court workout. Porter was projected to be a late-first round pick if he were to enter the 2019 NBA Draft, but that's likely to change given the most recent medical issue.

Porter family has genetically weak ACL's, it seems. Both sisters tore ACLs (multiple times) in college and had to retire from playing.
