The Raiders would be lucky to win 6 games with Joe Montana at QB this year. The roster is still depleted and the schedule is brutal.

    Schaub is a sacrificial lamb.

I'm glad he's gone. I only wish the Texans had dumped him sooner, and I hope he can turn his career around with his new team. Nothing else to say, really.

Texan fans better hope this is the case because if he goes Jacoby Jones/ Brad Lidge on us with the Raiders it won't be pretty.

I can't see that happening. Most people couldn't tell you a receiver the Raiders have.

Could you see that happening with Bard Lidge? He lost his job and was booed by fans and flamed by everyone here. It wasn't as bad with Jones. Very unlikely but possible.

But Brad Lidge didn't go to the Cubs.

As a teammate, why run it back on him? Lol seems that would only hurt his confidence.

Couldn't they have found a much cheaper sacrificial lamb?

Yeah the Raiders had an obligation to bring in 45 million in FA salary. Hence the splurging on older vets on short term deals.
