I'd wager they get caught up in their own hype and crash and burn under the expectations.

This scumbag... I REALLY REALLY hope they fail. As much as I've ever wished failure on someone.

Doesnt this happen quite often with the very top prospects? For trying to mitigate any injuries possibly sustained?

I hope Danny Ainge drafts him anyway, and then he becomes Austin Rivers part 2. :D

This Lavar Ball/Kristine Leahy/Charlamagne/Whitlock beef going on is pretty funny.

I've never seen a beef between 4 equally ignorant people.

All started with Leahy saying that Lavar's kids are "scared of him" and implying that they got into basketball because he forced them (ignorant comment, a whole lotta assuming)

Then Lavar went on the Herd with Cowherd & Leahy & things got heated (also called Whitlock on his weight). Lavar's an A-class idiot but she is definitely spamming the **** out of Strawman.

Then Charlamagne gives Leahy Donkey of the Day for playing the victim which she kind of did by why is this guy even talking about sports?

Whitlock now goes all white knight mode in defending Leahy from Charlamagne

Then Charlamagne gives him (Whitlock) Donkey of the day (lol)

    Verdict:

Lavar being ignorant, Leahy being the victim, Whitlock being bad at his job & Charlamagne even commenting about the sports world = A class entertainment.

Didn't Lonzo work out with the 76ers?

I'm 99% sure the reason he really doesn't want to go to the Celtics is because of his minutes / brand.

Lonzo goes to the Lakers, 76'ers, he immediately gets a big role with 25mpg+, he gets to put up big numbers on a bad team. The more minutes he gets, the bigger role he gets, the more points he scores, the more money he makes with his own brand.

On the Celtics, IT, Smart, Bradley, Rozier are all playing his position, they are looking to win and will not just hand Lonzo minutes, won't just allow him to take over the offense etc like the Lakers or 76ers would. Jaylen Brown the 3rd overall pick only got 17 minutes and 6ppg and that probably scares the **** out of Lavar, Celtics SF position is way weaker then their backcourt too.

Lavar/Lonzo don't hate the Celtics, they aren't Lakers only (although LA is home ,and would help their brand much more then any other team outside of the Knicks) they just want to make sure he gets minutes and an immediate opportunity to make an impact.

When I heard this stuff in the media, they made it sound like Ball was going after this lady and threatening her. What a joke. And Whitlock, how does this guy still work as a sports commentator? Holy cow.
