I'm on the chimera arc of Hunter very low point for me. First two arcs were so good.

The chimera ant arc is the one people usually love the most. I found it way too drawn out in the middle. The end of it makes up for it though and is really truly fantastic.

I wish there were more episodes of this anime.

Picking a top 3 is very hard. But Hunter x Hunter is in there. Maybe even at the number 1 spot.

I've been trying to get into HxH because I love Yu Yu, but it isn't that great to me. Everyone seems to love HxH.

Very similar to yu Yu. I think it does a better job of being more intellectual. The fighting is always very tactical.

This thread just reminded me. 2017 has been a below average year for anime. I hope 2018 is much better.

It's one of the things I'm starting to really hate about anime in general. They keep telling me what's happened (is happening) in the action. I don't mind some explanation but it feels like ALL the action is exposition.

    There’s the:
    Hunter exam arc
    Tower of heaven arc
    Phantom troupe arc
    Greed island arc
    Chimera Ant arc
    Commissioner election arc

If you just finished greed island the next arc starts when you meet kite.

Not a huge anime fan but

Full metal alchemist: brotherhood was spectacular.
Avatar, the last air bender was spectacular, even though some apparently don’t consider it anime...
    FLCL just a fun one

Sword art online was cool, naruto was ok, dbz

How dare you disrespect Dragon Ball Super like that!

Don't you love Goku getting a new form every 10 episodes?

I'm watching every other episode right now. I think the fights have been good, but there is no substance behind any of it. I don't care about any of it. I'm really just waiting for this arc to be over. Feels like it has been going on forever with all these meaningless fights.

It’s been nice seeing all these new characters and how all the fights aren’t drawn out forever.

I’ve enjoyed it and can hardly wait to watch it every week and watch it as soon as the sub com s out on Saturday night
