Before the money, before the fame, before he became fat, before Daryl Morey put him in his nerd machine & made him a basketball robot, before pounding the rock for 20 seconds...

You sound just a bit sour J.R.

You dont like Harden leading League in assists?

You dont like 3 consecutive seasons leading league in scoring?

You dont like a Rockets MVP since Hakeem hoisted this award over 2 decades ago?

Or finishing top 2 in MVP votes in 5 of past 6 seasons?

You don't like the 2 WCF or being the only team to challenge the greatest NBA team ever assembled (playing minimum 4 all stars, sometimes 6) during GSW zenith?

Man I wish I could relive that night all over again. There was so much hope for the future. One of my favorite seasons. Felt like we hit the lottery pick with a generational talent. Is don’t even feel this way about Tmac first game because of the back issues in Orlando. Same for Dwight Howard And Pippen. Only other time I felt this joyous wnabout a

That team and current team is strangely similar:

Big PG pushing pace - Lin < Westbrook
Scoring machine - Harden = Harden
Long 3-D energy guy - Parsons < Covington
    T H I C C forward - Marcus Morris < PJ
Rim protector - Asik ? Bruno

James got space so easily for his mid-range shot. DM knows very little about real basketball. I want to see him back on the court. He looks lighter and fit. He can do it all. Unfortunately, Covid - 19 precludes all activities and games. Health comes first.
