"Deserves its own thread" as a phrase did. IDIOT was coined on July 2nd, 2017, when the full phrase had matured or ripened (festered?) enough as a meme for a new silly ancronym to "blow @DreamShook's mind" the moment he saw it.

Takes a lot of build up for something as stupid as IDIOT to achieve instant success.

OK, now I'm embarrassed about my memory of how CFnet memes get started. Takes a lo of stupid IDIOTing around here to catch the birth of all the memes.
