Hitting Coach: Troy Snitker

    With Cintron suspended, Troy Snitker becomes the Astros primary hitting coach. From 2011 to 2013, he has two years in the minors (A), one year in independent ball. He has a batting average of .236 as a professional. He is the son of the Braves manager. Snitker joined the organization in 2019.

    Excellent. He can coach them on how to hit .236 :). I'm sure it'll be fine. This is fine.

    He’s young. Like, really young. Less than a year older than George Springer young, and a lot younger than Yuli Gurriel. That doesn’t mean that he might not be a good hitting coach, but damn...
