Yes, I guess at this point, the single important question is "what is trump hiding?"

In 2017 Hilton made 3 million off revenue of 9 billion.

The year before they lost money. Not one hotel. All of Hilton

Sometimes it’s better to remain silent and thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

I bet Nikki Haley will lose her "trump's favorites" place in the eyes of trump defenders...

They don’t hide things in returns, but they hide things by not releasing returns so one can see what’s in them.

Putting aside Russia, just knowing Trump's effective tax rate might be the most interesting result. We're just finishing tax day and a lot of Americans are finding that the tax law made them worse off (if only for the fact that companies didn't withhold proper amounts). Combine that with his taxes showing a crazy low tax rate, and you have the formula for a strong argument that resonates.

Taxes were part of Romney's problem in 2012. Remember he had a 14% effective tax rate which helped feed the Obama narrative that Romney was an out of touch multi-millionaire who didn't pay taxes and ran a private equity firm that bought and chopped up companies to make money while putting thousands out of work.

Economic narratives sell really well. That's the stuff that helped Democrats win Midwestern rural voters. Rural voters here could care less about Russia. It's all about the economy and jobs. And Democrats need to construct a narrative built around the economy. The Russia stuff will work on suburban voters but a message about the absurdity of the Republican tax law and Trump's own tax avoidance is a winning message in rural America.

He's already been exposed for embellishing charities and charitable donations for his company.

The IRS is underfunded and understaffed. If he couldn't find an affordable accountant to doctor his returns, that's on him and his great business acumen.

Actually that would be 100% inaccurate. People actually overstate incomes sometimes to commit loan fraud.

The issue figures to be here doesn't want people to know he's not as wealthy as he pretends or the world to find out he cheats on his taxes.

I understand that sentiment but Trump owns real estate

You can walk right in and estimate the value yourself. He isn't operating a hedge fund

Yet another example of the left focusing on the wrong topics. Trump has successfully gotten all Democrat candidates to reveal their tax returns in a high profile manner, exposing them as the elitist in which they claim to be against.

Meanwhile, if there was any illegal activity on Trumps returns, you can rest assure the IRS would have picked it up. Trump holds the cards here. He has nothing to gain by revealing them. He is waiting on the left to force him to reveal his taxes so he can play the victim. If there was any serious dirt to be had, it would have been leaked by now.

I am sure he told the IRS about it when he filed his taxes and the IRS is colluding to keep it from the public. Maybe they are Russian agents.

Amazing you think Democrat candidates complying with something presidential candidates have done for 40 years is "trump winning" while defending trump continuing to hide his tax returns (and as a result hiding obvious inappropriate if not illegal activity). That is how trump is "winning"... not that Democrats act different... but that enough republicans allow, defend and embolden him to do what he does. republicans have abandoned any sense of right and wrong and all Americans are paying the price for that.
