Dude, Download this image below (right click and Save As), and make it your Avatar. the message will go away, and you will appear to have no avatar.
If you don't want an avatar, that is fine... I'm just trying to encourage those who don't to have one simply because I think it gives more character to the account posting when you're viewing a thread discussion. I changed the notice so that you can dismiss it (*X* it out) if you want.
