The next skillsets he should aquire in the off-season is how to make a quick move and not take 20 seconds off the clock and how to move without the ball on offense. Then he would have no holes .

So, you want to turn him back into a 2-ala Klay Thompson? Change the entire offensive scheme that took the warriors to 7 games last year with only 1 all-star. Our system is made to take out all defensive players out of the picture by spacing. Essentially creating a two on two game. When you have the best pnr tandem and best 1v1 player in the game. It creates a huge disadvantage for the opposing team.

Harden handles are nice along with his footwork. It takes crazy strength to stepback the way he does.

Steve nash had low key handles. He didn't look flashy but somehow he would get past his defenders without using any speed.

    It’s called efficiency.

Rafer Alston had great handles. I see it as a different skill than assisting, Jason Williams had flashy assists but handles def could name a few more flashier dribblers. Kylie probably wins it for me, that guy has an innate understanding of bouncing basketballs that seasoned professionals never get.

Do you actually want to engage in an intelligent fun dialogue or spout things off? You presented an argument and I’m presenting mine.

Is Harden incable of improving his game? Are you really against Harden sometimes making a quick move instead of allowing the defense to set and dribbling and waving the ball around for 20 seconds?

he does quick moves.. outlett passes, quick passes, quick attacks, quick shots, fastbreaks.. you act like he never does those.. he already mixes it up that's why he's unstoppable / unguardable

so who is the ideal superstar for you?

How does Curry have only 4 votes? Its so hard to do the stuff he does. His handle is so low, quick and strong. Moves look easy but its really hard to pull off all those behind to backs right into shooting pocket. Flashiness dont mean a thing when you can do simple cross over and get past everybody. I feel like Kyrie works too hard to gain advantage

I honestly always believed Paul has had the best handles in NBA history, even before he was a Rocket.

They're arguably not *quite* as flashy as Kyrie's (although they're still pretty gatdamn flashy), but they're more effective. Paul has always been able to get anywhere on the floor that he wanted any time that he wanted, and he almost never turns the ball over... He is averaging a career high in TO/min, though. Need him to cut that ish out ASAP.

Surprised how many people are voting Kyrie... sign of the age on this board maybe?

As for Harden, he's probably top 3-5 in the NBA right now (which is incredible considering all aspects of his game), but as much as I love Harden, I'm sorry, he's nowhere near the best handles in league history.

    Kenny Anderson deserves mention.

    Disappointing career but appointing handles.

He really has a bad habit of not going for the quick move before the defense sets. In fact sometimes he even waits for the defense to set before he makes his move .
