how many times does harden let a man blow by for an uncontested layup in transition?

I've watched probably every single t-mac game as a rocket and every single Harden game since he has arrived here. Harden is a lot worse defensively, a lot.

I really don't understand the obsession with comparing McGrady to Harden. They were different players from different eras. They both had their strengths and they both had their weaknesses.

McGrady was a better defender than Harden. Harden's 2014-2015 was a better season, both individually and as a team, than any of McGrady's. Even though McGrady's first seasons here in Houston were really good.

In my mind, McGrady was undeniably the more physically talented player. His first years with the Rockets were amazing to watch. But he also undeniably underperformed (the only year we made it out of the first round was 2009 when he missed the entire playoffs) and he also undeniably quit on the Rockets' teams later in his career.

Harden in 2015-2016 also took several steps backwards. But, like I said, they are different players. If Harden retired right now, McGrady would be considered as the better player. But McGrady's NBA story is finished. Harden's is still being written. And for as long as Harden continues to be on the Rockets, I will hope and pull for him to be more and more successful.

I've watched all the Tracy McGrady rockets games too.

    There wasn't that many.

    It's not an accomplishment.

That's like saying you read the cat in the hat book.

Or you watched a whole bugs bunny cartoon.

We could really use his leadership, accountability and commitment to defense right now.

I have yet to hear James Harden take the blame for someone in the stands getting a Budweiser when they ordered a Heineken.
