Finally there’s some teams in the playoffs with serious big centres who change the game on D. All guys on teams with a chance to advance and do some great things. It starts with Davis who’s just dominating on both ends, but how about Gobert who can seriously be the x factor in taking down the Thunder. Then we have the return of Embiid, a great one ourselves in Capela, but let’s not forget Ibaka or even the likes of Thon Maker and Myles Turner w/ their ability to impact the game on that end. I’m loving these playoffs because of the bigs having serious impact on defense in particular and for an age where the big man is almost forgotten or ignored, so happy to see them doing well.
Indeed, amazing potential! 4ppg, 3rpg while shooting 40% from the field as a 30-year old sophomore! The ceiling is through the roof!
I don't really have a problem with your OP. I just found it funny that you've included Maker, who was literally a non-factor the whole season until this last game.
Fair enough I just really enjoyed him going crazy for basically one quarter / half of a game. Love me some big men play, like the good old 90s!
Well it's been a while since some really good Bigs have come out. What I would do to have Akeem on this team right now to show the world what a real big man is.
