It's way too early and mock drafts are stupid regardless, but the 3 I just looked up all had Kennard getting picked ahead of Allen. Looking forward to seeing what Allen does in the Tourney, he has a chance to surpass Laettner as the biggest punk-b!tch-tool in Duke history.
How is his partying? How many IG posts does he make a day? He's not Parsons if he doesn't post at least 3x a day.
I hope Kennard will stay for another year. He needs to be more of the focal point of the team and run the PnR. I really like his game.
This kid is a beast! He could make it as a catch-and-shooter but he's capable of so much more than that.
Allen was exposed versus Syracuse. Duke basically stayed outside and jacked up 3s. Allen could not drive on better athletes. He also looked shorter than his listed height.
Well Syracuse plays a zone... they basically force you to make your outside shots and win, or lose. Coach K messed up Allen's prospects by making him stay another year. Allen would've been a lotto pick last year and now he might go undrafted or be a late second. Kennard is a much better NBA prospect, though I feel like he may be too unathletic to be productive - his game is tailor-made for college. He's very skilled and adept with both hands though. Remember when guys were claiming Giles was a surefire 1/2 pick even with his history of injuries? Talking about him being a better prospect than Simmons/Ingram lol. Really subpar freshman season. You can't teach that level of athleticism, but he never really showed true skills...probably be best for him to stay another year. He still might get drafted in the lottery off of potential and athleticism alone if he comes out this year though.
I'm a seller of Kennard- in the NBA you can't call a "fair catch" of a pass and attempt a set shot unmolested.
