    Wow is Tech vs Baylor worthy of a game thread?

    And another jab at Tech. I really want to root for UT but this board makes it hard some times. Which is funny every ut alum I make in real life is extremely classy/respectful of Tech.

    But when you throw them behind a keyboard they really remind me of our neighbors up 45 aka the Dallas Cowboys fan.

    Tech will roll over Baylor we got destroyed last night but if you think Tech is any where close to baylors level your just not thinking.

    It's a $$$ grab.

    I'm guessing it wont bring in as much $$$ as the OU/UT/atm/osu/nebraska games did.

    It's nothing personal. You're just a potential obstacle to our championship dreams. If the roles were reversed you'd be cheering like hell for the Bears also.

    I doubt it Tech could beat Baylor by 50. OU lose to OSU. Than Tech beats Mizzou by 30 and UT would still be a head of Tech in the BCS.

    I guess you never know what might happen. But it's odd that this popped open before an OU/OSU thread or a UT/atm thread thats the games that really matter to UT.

    Personal might not be the right word. But I'm sure this will turn into a tech/lubbock bashing thread by tommorw. Look at the thread title

    I'm sure it's more of a slap at Fatty.

    Also, Brad Edwards (ESPN) seems to think that TT could jump UT if they win the Big 12 because they won head to head.

    It's not going to happen, but Tech losing is likely the only way Texas can win the B12 Title and get into the NCG without "backing in" or whatnot. If all the games were equally as likely, Tech losing would be UT's most direct route, so I'm not sure why it matters "less" than the OU/OSU game except for the fact that it's a much, much less likely upset.

    Okay that makes sense. I havent even thought about what a loss to Baylor would mean to UT mainly b/c that is so far out there.

    Baylor is an improving team but still....

    UT is in great shape.

    IMHO Tech is out whether they win the big 12 or not. Maybe I'm just to down after last night. It could happen but it will take alot more than just OSU winning and Tech winning the big 12

    And OU has to win two very difficult games make the title game. (isnt the big 12 title game in missouri?)

    UT just beat the Aggies and odds are atleast 50/50

    Seriously. I was hoping Tech would've at least played last night. I was really, really disappointed. Because even the most ardent UT fan has to love Mike Leach. That man is awesome.
