<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/CJ_GCPaKywg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Anyone excited for the new God of War? Kratos looks calm and this is set in Norse Mythology so I think Thor will be the enemy but we will see.
Broke down and pre-ordered my Collector's Edition tonight. Didn't pay out the extra $20 for the Stone Mason edition, didn't see anything that was worth it. I like the more visceral combat and the almost RPG-ish elements to it.
Actuall looked it up last night. Same Kratos from the earlier games. Moved to a different land. Per Wikipedia
Might be an question of ignorance, but why is this game called "God of War?" Wouldn't it be confusing since there's already a "God of War" game?
Well I think it’s just fresh start for kratos in a new world and plus it’s the first god of war for ps4.
I had no interest in this game until I saw the universal love that it was receiving. I had played the original GoW and GoW2 and enjoyed them. However I felt like the formula was stale, so I'm really glad that it's been drastically changed. I'm very ready to play it tomorrow.
There's a remastered version of 3 that's $20 on the PS Store. No version of 2 on PS4, but there's the God of War Collection (1 & 2) for PS3.
I think you might be able to play the God of War collection through PsNow. GoW 3 is available on the psn store for PS4 tho and it should still be pretty cheap. I'm pretty excited for this one. Picking up my copy after work. I understand there is a 6gb update. After that I'll be playing through the night
LOL. So I heard it runs at 1080p 60fps on PS4 Pro. I am not buying another peasants console just for one game.
this game is a PS4 exclusive then? didnt realize...never played a GoW game before...is it open world combat game or....i'm curious with all the praise its getting
