    The guy looks and sounds like the devil himself. I feel bad that our family used to watch him preach on Sundays in the before going to church quite a while ago. Why are so many of these false preachers gaining so much traction?

    I don’t know why but Baptists and Born Again believers are INCREDIBLY easy to con.

    I had a neighbor in Ohio that was a prominent preacher. He drank, strayed from his wife and loved to party. He would invite us over for large parties at his 10 bedroom home. He was fun to be around when drinking because he would discuss how stupid his parishioners were.

    Saw this last month and dude is wacky. It is amazing the amount of support he had in the fb comments where i saw it. To each their own, i guess.

    This isn't fair because I couldn't make it through her running question long enough to even hear him speak, to give give me a chance to hate him.

    Just generally hate the **** stirrer as much or more than the POS they're squawking at.

    They've always had traction, more so on radio back in the day and in the same UHF space and slots that aired a lot of regional wrestling. A lot of the type of people who wrote angry letters when Uhura kissed Spock or when Dinah Shore sang with Nat King Cole have eaten this stuff up for almost a century. But separately they get a very large contingent of black and immigrant viewers as well.

    Copeland's eyes and mannerisms are creepy as hell.

    Lisa Guerrero (the reporter) did a great job in this interview. Kept calm, never got intimidated and stayed focused on the task at hand. She was a well-known sports reporter back in the day and I'm sure she's plenty accustomed to misogyny and men behaving badly.

    When I was in college I was neighbors with a preacher as well(one of those young "hip" types that was home-schooled and din't get to live out his youth). In public it was all about purity, righteousness etc how he didn't need to have the life that most young people had because he had god on his side. His wife also had him on a pretty tight leash. One weekend she left for a trip and this dude came to our place, got wasted and was one of the most vulgar people I have ever been around. The next day he threw a crazy party at his place and trashed his whole house. So much for not caring about the life most young people want...

    All these super religious types are con men to some extent. Am I right @cml750
