I wonder how difficult it is NOT to use your legs, in McGregor's case. I mean, not that McGregor is going to purposely use his legs, but his job is all about using every part of your body with precision - that kind of muscle memory can't be erased in a couple of months.

I hope the garbage human that is Floyd Mayweather get embarrassed. Fighting someone that has never boxed before is embarrassing enough. I think he obviously wins, but hopefully Connor gets a few solid knocks in. Floyd hasn't ever matched up with a true fighter before, just whatever you call a modern day "boxer"

Well it'll be nice to see McGregor essentially knocked out again but it won't be a very entertaining boxing match....not that there is really such thing as a very entertaining boxing match to begin with. It would have been a lot more fun if Floyd put his big boy pants on and tried to take on McGregor in an MMA fight but that's too much to expect.

If Paquiao, Canelo, and Cotto couldnt touch Floyd, I dont expect Connor to either. This is going to be a boring ass fight. Can't wait.

Floyd is the best. Now he will become the greatest MMA fighter of all time as well when he teaches McGregor a lesson in a first round TKO.

This fight changed Juan Manuel Lopez for good.
This is a modern classic fight in the same class as Mickey Ward and Arturo Gatti.

Let's say the unthinkable happens, and Mayweather loses.

How big a blemish would this be on his career?

It has zero chance of happening. It'd be a bigger upset than Buster Douglas beating Tyson.

There is nothing about this fight that favors Connor in any way, as far as I can see. Mayweather is so ridiculously skilled.

I would gladly pay $100 dollars on my own money to watch these two in an MMA match.

But Mayweather's fights are all snoozefests to begin with, it's the reason I haven't watched one in years. Combine that with a non-boxer, and it's just much ado about nothing. The best fighters in the world haven't been able to even daze Mayweather, why would I think he has a chance. I don't even give him a punchers chance because Mayweather's painfully conservative style never leaves him open.

MMA guys throw punches etc from different angles. Connor will have a decent shot at the upset. I think he has abnormal power for his weight class as is.

If I'm McGregor, I throw at least one leg kick and to hell with the point deduction. If that kick slows Mayweather down then the fight would get interesting.
I'm going to watch it, but I'm not going to like it.

There is a specific clause in the contract that Conner use zero MMA -- if he did that it would probably void the contract.

If McGregor were to somehow win, is he the greatest fighter of all time?
