Russ was fine even with Capela. And Joeger is a good coach. He’s just a head case. I swear to god the people here constantly use what they don’t know as a way of knowing something. Russ was fine with Capela? Look up his efficiency #'s pre and post Capela. Joerger is an old school coach who was ok for the grit and grind era of the Grizzlies. But everyone is moving away from that style of play which is why he failed miserably in Sacramento. 2 bigs posting up, or forcing his players to pass up open 3's in favor of "working" the offense was his downfall, and is anti everything Rockets related. You are a moron of the first order. D'Antoni's offenses (yes, plural) are not just pretty, his offenses are revolutionary. And his defensive adjustment during smallball has been extraordinary. Without Bzdelik and in spite of Turner. Rockets just need better rotation players to maximize the new offense and defense. Just 2-3 more players.
The Rockets suck. The defense and offense sucks. they are falling off a cliff as the style of play is taxing on all these guys playing out of position. that shitty video game right at the end of the hot streak. They were getting their asses handed to them for weeks after. Gimmicky coach with a gimmicky team. D’Antoni started a revolution, he ISNT LEADING IT. Every team in the league spams pick and rolls. The difference is they incorporate far smart cuts, screen actions, high post plays, and more dynamic, diverse play styles than spamming Westbrook/Harden/Paul isolations for YEARS. You are too stupid to see it or too delusional or stubborn to admit it.
At this point, assuming that against the odds a much shortened season resumes and then we go straight into the playoffs, that talk of "firing" Mike D'Antoni is entirely inappropriate. Actually, absurd would be a better adjective.
If it happens, they better hope KD is all the way back. 7 man rotations and up and down the court all night every night is no joke.
