    DVauthrin,

Sounds sorta even, but you may have given up too much.

Edgerrin James is far less risky than Terrell Davis. Davis is coming off a serious knee injury, and James is young, powerful, and a good receiver out of the back field. With Peyton Manning the defenses can't tee off on James, they have to respect both the run and the pass. In TD's case Brian Griese is going into his second year as a starter, and doesn't have nearly as complete an offense as do the Colts. EDGE - James

Terrel Owens is supposed to be the number one receiver for San Fran now, but they don't really have a QB to get him the ball. Keyshawn Johnson is probably a better overall reciever than Owens, but he has the same QB problem as Owens. What makes it even for Owens is that his teams will most likely be behind more often and hence pass more. Johnson won't be seeing his accustomed number of balls his way, and with their defense won't have to play catch up often. EDGE - Even

Rob Smith is a solid veteran running back. They have a rookie QB, so they may focus on their run attack more than usual, but with Chris Carter and Randy Moss, not as much as most teams with rookie QBs. The Vikes don't have another RB that will even push Smith for carries, so he'll get just about every run call they have. Plus, he's an above average receiver too. EDGE - R. Smith

TOTAL TRADE EDGE - Not you

Of course, the final outcome is totally dependant on players staying healthy. If TD goes down, then it was a great trade. If he doesn't then you got screwed.

No way DREAMer. James is the best player in football right now. He will (should) have a monster year. James does it all, runs for big yardage, scores lots of TD's and even catches for big yardage.

I dont know that much about fantasy football, but Vaut's deal sounds good to me. The conservative offense of Buccs wont help Key rack up tds or even yardage.

Gotta agree Bob--and not just cuz' I'm a Colts fan.

Edgerrin James is the best player offensively in the league right now, IMHO. A powerful, quick runner, and a great receiver out of the backfield.

In fact, I could be wrong, but I believe that no other Colt running back ran the ball for Indy last year besides James. Is that durability or what? (Especially since Indy was winning a lot, so they ran the ball at the end of the games plenty to run the clock) Thank god they got him a backup this season. Being a Rockets fan, I can't stand to have my other favorite team be riddled with injury...

Oh, by the way, in case you couldn't tell my opinion, GOOD TRADE.

    QB- Brad Johnson
    RB- Emmitt Smith
    RB- Ricky Williams
    WR- Marvin Harrison
    WR- Terry Glenn
    TE- Stephen Alexander
    Def- Redskins

    And I got killed.

    Gascon,

How many people in your league?

    I got
    Beuerlein
    E George
    R Williams
    T Holt...this guy is great
    A Toomer...sux but dependable
K Johnson...If cle can block, he will score
    Conway
    Detroit

This is a 12 man league in which the WR went more quickly than I anticipated. There were decent RBs available after the solid Wrs were gone.

Trade Emmitt, Dallas looked bad in preseason. Dallas looked bad week 1. Emmitt is a great runner but I don't know if he can still do it all by himself.

We can use a 3 wr set if we want.
