Fade's ClutchFans Fantasy Baseball 2009 Draft Thread

    The draft timer is fixed at 8 hours. Please send lists to people if you know you are going to be away for an extended period of time. If somebody lets their time expire, just bite your tongue and please don`t complain. We`re going to try to maintain a positive attitude this year. The trades involving draft picks last year have been accounted for and have been entered into the system.

    The timer will start with PSJ's first pick. Good luck everyone!

    Interesting draft, with the folding of 2 teams there's alot of talent for the taking. Jose Reyes is ridiculously good.

    just wondering if heckling, humour, sarcasm and wit are allowed both with regards to late picks and players selected :rolleyes:

    First b**** of the draft- I didn't select Justin Mourneau. I might have had him in my queu or whatever last night after picking Ramirez to look at his stats, but I didn't make the selection and I know 8 hours did not pass as I picked around 2am. :confused:

    I really don't need another 1B with Pujols in my lineup. If I'm stuck, oh well. Kid's a stud anyways. Just sayin', wasn't my choice.

    I'll stick with the pick. Just sayin' in case someone else leaves someone in their pick box for the future. It might pick for ya. I'll just use him as my UTL guy or something.

    UTL guy is usually a 1B anyway, and he accumulates stats the same as any other position. Morneau doesn't seem like a bad pick to me.
