4 out of 7 have the Texans going to the Superbowl, with 1 picking us to win.

If everyone is healthy. We have a strong chance to make it to New Orleans and pack the house!

If Andre, Foster, Schab and most of the D are near 100% come playoffs, I think we've got a great shot. If Andre or Schab go down, or Andre is out there limping around, we're screwed. Running game is great, but without the threat of passing from Schab to Andre we're very 1 sided.

I'd rather not have such high expectations from many and instead be seen as an underdog.

Not me. If the team is healthy, nothing less than a deep playoff run is acceptable. Every Super Bowl contender has high expectations. It goes with the territory, and it's all on Kubiak.

Underdog is just another word for "you sucked last year".

Expectations are high, and rightly so.

    Not a Texans fan.

It's not really a matter of respect, but actual talent and on-field performance. In reality at full strength last year, the Texans were arguably the best AFC team, even better than the Patriots. You have to remember that the Texans were a very good team at full strength. Honestly, I could've seen them beating any other team in the AFC playoff picture, even New England. Houston's defense matches up very well with the Patriots, while I think the Patriots are going to have trouble stopping a Houston team at full strength. They are still porous in pass coverage, while they aren't an outstanding run stopping team.

Yeah, they are complete package. They have an excellent passing offense (remember '09 Schaub led league in passing yards), the best running back in the league, a stud backup running back, had what many experts considered the best offensive line in the league last season (might regress a bit without Winston), an elite receiver, a solid tight end, and solid young receivers who are rising.

On defense they have a great D-Line (could improve at NT), awesome linebackers, a solid secondary that keeps improving, and 4 pro-bowl calibre players (Cushing, Watt, Barwin, Joseph).

If healthy, this team could easily go all the way. No big hole. Think about the other great teams:

    Patriots: Have defensive/secondary issues
Packers: Lack of a run game
    Ravens: Could improve passing game
    Texans: No major gap.

The only true concerns are Injury and our Kicking game... so far so good!
