Ariza is our Battier, albeit dumber but more physically gifted.

i wonder what his 3 point percentage will be if he plays 30 -32 minutes a game. his tired legs must contribute to missing some threes....

"And the next time you get mad at Trevor Ariza for missing a three, remember this: he’s been the glue guy for so long, his hands might be a bit sticky."

    Lmao no

I'm looking forward to having Mbah a More, Tucker, and even the occasional Eric Gordon take his minutes. He's a great guy but He s playing far too many minutes at his age/playstyle

Agreed. I thought it was interesting that PJ Tucker ranked right there with him on defensive rating. It's as if we brought in Paul so we never have to worry about the offense when Harden sits and we brought in Tucker to make sure we never have to worry about the defense when Ariza sits.

I think the Rockets thoughts on the Carmelo trade say it all. Deal would be done but the rockets don't feel like losing Ariza makes them a better team.

I do agree with taking a solid 5 minutes off his average. That wall he hit in January/February HAD to be legs. With the additions they've made, there's absolutely no reason not to give Tucker some run. I mean 400 less minutes, that's significant enough to think he'll be fresh all year long and he's still playing over 30 minutes a night.
