He has some elite skills, but I think he was in desperate need of a real player development coach, not whatever passes for that in Phoenix

Dude has the perfect player to mold his game after (Brook Lopez), comes onto a team that expects very little of him (so no pressure) and he gets to play with a team and front office that actually cares about winning games. AND he's only 21? This is a super low risk, super high reward for the Bucks. And if Bender remotely looks like Brook Lopez by the all-star break, look out East.
Honestly feel like this change in scenery might be really good for him. Takes him away from a noncompetitive lax environment into the East-leading Bucks team with the MVP. Maybe "look out East" was too much, but it's still low risk, high reward.
In 2017-2018 (his age 20 season), he hit on 37% 3s on over 300 attempts. A guy who’s north of 7 feet tall and can do that can have a spot in this league. He may end up the next Tskitishvilli, but it’s not a bad flier pickup.
