Knee jerk. Wolves aren't your typically 8 seed, they dropped there cause of injuries while blazers r a fake 3 seed that barely got there on the very last game.

I doubt they keep shooting +45% on 3s for the rest of the playoffs.

Also that Rockets team benefited greatly from having the best player and the best team removed for them, and last I checked the Rockets haven't been eliminated and LeBron is still playing.

If he improves his shot, he could be a versatile KG/Dirk/Durant hybrid. Moar KG less Dirk doe.

    OlaJuwan Howard?

I don’t think even Rocket fans claim Dream is the best player in NBA history. Cmon now.

Blazers were such a favorable match-up for the Pelicans. New Orleans is being really overhyped right now. They're a good playoff team, but not a contender.

let's wait and see, if they can take down GW with their current squad, then you have a case, they need to take 1 of the first 2 games, to do that, let's go pels!!!!

Sort of. AD is playing great, and they are getting some really nice production out of Jrue - although I am not sure who his analogue would be on the 93-94 Rockets (closer to Clyde on the 94-95 Rockets, but that seems like too much praise even with his outburst). After that, it gets a little dicey. Mirotic and Rondo are nothing like Smith and Thorpe. Mirotic is a below average defender who has feasted on open 3's. Thorpe had no shooting range but was a ferocious defender and rebounder. Rondo is a visionary passer and good defender who cannot shoot for the life of him. All Kenny could do was shoot. And who is Horry on these Pelicans? Moore? Hill? No thanks.

The similarities really begin and end with Davis, who is playing really well.

AD sort of relies on his guards to get him the ball in good position whereas Hakeem crested for himself and the guards

AD is great, but it's a different style

I would say before his championship runs, Hakeem was viewed in the same tier as Anthony Davis is today.
Succes is what separates Hakeem from Davis.

Well they don't have ugly uniforms so that's very similar to the 93 Rockets

Agreed that the Rockets need to play better, shoot better, play harder, etc.

However, people seem to be forgetting that the T-Wolves were in the 3rd spot before Butler's knee injury and missed 17 games (if i'm not mistaken). They had the 4th best home record in the league and finished with the same Conference record as GSW.

Stop discrediting the T-Wolves just cuz of where they're seeded.

No discredit to the wolves at all, but we aren't the 6th seed either. We're #1 by a wide margin, and that margin should be greater than the one between the Pels and Blazers. We are not playing our best basketball, not even close.

Nice topic showing a total lack of awareness of how good the '93-94 Rockets were with Hakeem.

Warriors loses to spurs is give more time for curry to take rest for return of 2nd round. This is a fake match. Pecilians did a good job to sweep blazers
