Does anyone else wish the Astros would "embrace the hate"?

eta: as an aside for @Jake Tower or anyone else, if you haven't seen the 1995 version of Richard III, you really should. Probably my favorite movie adaptation of Shakespeare, and my favorite Ian McKellan performance.

 

I’m so pleased to see Correa out there defending Altuve like that. I hope the entire team has that “**** em’” attitude this year and steamrolls the rest of the league. Some of these players trashing the Astros will have major egg on their face if it ever comes out they cheated too.

 

I was just talking to a friend here in Mn that maybe the Astros should just take on the mantle of being the Patriots of baseball.

Bring back the midnight blue uniforms with the jagged star of the late 90’s, hire Hinch back but have him wearing a grey hoodie in the dugout.

 

They gotta use the hate to fuel them this season. They are going to get into hostile environments on the road this season. Just going to have embrace the Boos as Cheers. If anything, what doesn't kill you can only make you stronger!!

 

That would be better if our football team wasn't trying and failing miserably to actually become the Patriots for the past 6 seasons...and counting.

I keep seeing wrestling memes and that's just childish (and scripted). Go out and win ball games for your fans and don't answer anymore 2017-19 questions.

Not silly. Players have already publicly said the Astros players deserve a beating. Combinecthatvwith the unwritten rules and how baseball players handle this, I fully expect such things, and maybe more, to happen.

It will be interesting to see how baseball/the refs handle that. Nip it into the bud aggredsively? Or let it slide a bit? I wouldn't be surprised at the latter.

Astros need to start taking BP using the Biggio arm guard. Since Biggio is already camp he can show them how to use their arm/guard to protect themselves from inside pitches.

Don't you mean, "turn away from the pitch while also flipping out your armored elbow, thereby drawing a HBP" ? Which, by the way, probably affected more games than this sign stealing BS.

Every home game you get one of those mini wooden bats and a replica trash can to bang on the way in the stadium.

Any time a player gets a hit we play a recording of Breen yelling "BANG BANG BANG"

 

I don't need to see any crotch grabbing with every HR, but I WOULD like to see us playing with a GIGANTIC chip our our shoulders all season long. I hope the players are as pissed off as we the fans are. And use that as motivation.
