    It is when they suck.

Kimbrel is excellent so nobody gives a sh**.

Pitchers having funky windups/setups is nothing new. Think Nomo, Fernando, Mike Fetters (one of my favorites), Dan Mengden (another favorite) and you can keep going.

Totally different to me than stuff like you mentioned with Encarnacion.

Don’t forget the granddaddy of them all... Tim Redding during his first time working with the Astros pitching coach.... right after introducing himself to Redding, he suggested a slightly different approach on the first pitch; to which Redding said “**** off”. That pretty much set the stage for Tim Redding... I always wondered what would happen if Redding and Mitch Melusky we’re stuck together for a week.

Tim Redding pisses me off to much to talk about usually. He was exactly who Crash Davis was talking about when he told Nuke he had a million dollar arm and a 10 cent brain.

Yet another great Astros "what could have been"....Carlos doesn't slide head first, Miller fixes his delivery, and Redding asks the wizard for a brain.

Somebody had to go to prison. we've had literally no confidence for well over 2 years now. The last time we did all this non-sense it went poorly. And that's how we ended up with Giles. Will be interesting to see what happens this go.

I like the way both Hinch and Luhnow said they didn’t know what Giles said, then Hinch halfway acknowledging it said he wasn’t sure it was directed at him and if it was they would talk.

Yeah...... he was close to unhittable with the hop.

    That year he had:

    1.16 ERA
    1.10 FIP
    0.80 WHIP
    31 INN
    59 SO

As Joey Votto said: "How the **** are you supposed to hit that?"

    @Nook @Buck Turgidson

Totally different, but this dude was more than a character. My dad loved him.

I could do this all day with players in general.

The pic above of the Pirates is absolutely Tekulve, no videos playing or anything, just a pic.

What are you trying to post? Vid? Gif? Pic?

Supposed to be a video of the Mad Hungarian. For some reason the link wasn’t copying correctly.

The Tekulve video didn’t post either! Just noticed.

Here's one for ya, I didn't realize all his power was in his beard. Much respect, I'm the same way:

Yep. Not sure why the vids are not posting. Thanks.

I love the history of this game probably much more than any other sport. Just saying.

Tekulve is a great delivery. Some others I remember are Quisenberry...Nomo...

The history of baseball is unmatched...
