Keep throwing out moderate republicans dressed as democrats and you will get stomped. I've abandoned the Democratic party and their boot licking ways.

I'm a liberal socialist who isn't afraid of saying Universal Healthcare and I'm not gonna make the mistake and vote for Clinton "because she's not Trump" again.

You really need to get off your high horse. This is the liberal arrogance many of us speak of. "Democrats/liberals nowdays have a higher standard for who they choose to vote for." No, you do not have a higher standard. Stop being arrogant and quit being condescending. Stop telling the voters of Georgia they are deplorable for not voting for a Democrat. This was a Red stronghold and they were expected to win. There is no need to be bitter and accuse the Right of picking a candidate of a lower standard just to make yourself feel better.

The sad part is this is a US House seat. This district is electing an official to represent them, not to better a certain party over another.

Nice strawman, have fun arguing against that.

Meanwhile, I'll stick to the point that conservatives happily lined up and voted for Trump.

Glad you follow me. This was a thread discussing the GA-6 race. I have posted on Russia: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...rump-russia-dots.281170/page-36#post-11150224

And here's one where Trump lines his own pockets. President Trump’s budget calls for sharply reducing funding for programs that shelter the poor and combat homelessness — with a notable exception: It leaves intact a type of federal housing subsidy that is paid directly to private landlords. One of those landlords is Trump himself, who earns millions of dollars each year as a part-owner of Starrett City, the nation’s largest subsidized housing complex. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/trump-and-swamp-drainage.279513/page-6#post-11150042

And here's a new one about Trump's pharmaceutical executive order where he sells out the American consumer in favor of the large pharmaceutical companies:

The problem is that old people that populate that district are truly ignorant of what they are voting for, they are only voting for a TEAM instead of what a candidate stands for....people are lazy.....and thus make poor choices against their own best interests just to fit in.

Lazy, and sad state of Americana.....because if they would educate themselves, they would take a look at Kansas and how those policies have utterly failed.....and have failed each and every time they have been tried.

Trickle Down does not and will never work.....

Hey, and shocking, all the same D&D posters that didn't vote or support Donald Trump joining Trump in his victory dance celebrating a republican winner who made at best mixed signals about Donald Trump prior to the vote. I guess what they say about politics making strange bedfellows is true...

It was supposed to be a referendum on Trump who only won the district by 1%.....and then the Republicans won the district by nearly 4% after Democrats dumped 30+ million dollars into the campaign. Sorry man, you can't spin this one to be a positive.

It's not about "Trump winning" it's about arrogant douchebags losing. As long as those on the left continue to be arrogant douchebags in defeat, people will continue to laugh about it when it happens.

The only reason the Democrats had a chance in the first election, was because the republicans had so many candidates in the race. There was 1 democrat. Republicans who sat out the first race showed up in the 2nd (30,000 more voters in the runoff).

The current Democratic leadership's formative political years were in the 70s and 80s watching George McGovern, Jimmy Carter, and Walter Mondale get their asses kicked. They are afraid of their own shadows. Luckily their time at the wheel is running out.

The mistake isn't voting for Clinton "because she's not Trump", the mistake is voting for Clinton because "nobody will elect a socialist".

Right, that's my point, they wanted to make this a referendum on Trump because they knew that Trump barely eked out the district in the presidential election and wasn't very popular in that area. The DNC thought that if they dumped enough money into the race they could pull it off due to all of the negative stuff about Trump since the election. Instead, the Republican won the district even easier than Trump did. It was a pretty serious miscalculation.

Republicans have won this seat every election since like 1980. Making a big stink about every election in every district is just silly. What will matter is elections in swing states, swing districts. Losing in freaking Montana and Georgia? We know Republicans will vote for any criminal, commie, or con man that comes around with an R next to his name. Relax.
