    Eh it wasn't an endorsement but it wasn't anything negative either. He basically answered that about as well he could and fairly honestly since he doesn't actually know if Brock is the QB of the future.

    If JJ says that, in public, I imagine Brock won't be the quarterback. If he says that, the entire team has no belief in the guy.

    JJ probably said "I dunno" because he doesn't know. he has no clue, and saying anything otherwise would be a clear and obvious lie.

    I see no problem with the statement. It's not like someone is going to go to Brock and say "hey, JJ isn't sure you're the leader/QB of this team next year" and Brock's mind is going to be blown. Brock knows he sucked, too.

    well seeing as how we signed Brock to be the future, its interesting to say the least. JJ is not going to flat out say No. So "errrrr i dunno" is about the closest LOL

    if somebody ask you girlfriend if you two have a future together and she responds errr i dunno, do you cut ties right then or ride it until the wheels fall off?

    He should have answered it like this - "I don't know what the future holds. It's true that Brock struggled this season and he knows and acknowledges that. It's up to him to learn from this season and improve and in the process help the team."
