What asterisk? People always talk about asterisks but like the other poster said scoreboard is scoreboard. Remember when GSW won their first ring when they fought Cleveland with injured Irving and Love? Where was the asterisk then?

All of MJ's rings have an asterisk because Bulls team were so much better than any other team in the league but nobody puts an asterisk on those they even use it as the basis for calling him GOAT. If Hakeem was there instead of Jordan pretty sure they'd have the same if not more rings.

 

You're assuming that we beat them...which is ridiculous. The question is would you rather lose to a healthy GS or beat an injured one? I pick the latter, and I assume most Rockets fans would. Just because we are killing everyone in regular season doesn't mean we can take out the historically great Warriors in the playoffs.

I believe Curry is out for the season, but Warriors just holding off to give their fans and teammates hope. Seeing Curry hobble like that is something it takes more than a few months. I'd be shocked if Curry comes back to Warriors the remainder of the games because he did signed a long-term contract and this is something that can linger, if not healed properly.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the Warriors drag out the first round series by 'losing' a couple of games.

 

if they do lose a couple games then I don't think that it will be on purpose like you are insinuating. I don't think they are secure enough to be able to play with fire like that. With Curry gone, they need to worry about winning.

"losing" a couple games on purpose in the 1st round could possibly result in them losing the series IMO
