Yeah. He could have just kept his mouth shut. I would give up ownership. These recent allegations and comments will take a long time to recover from & who knows how it hurts his other businesses. I don’t think he’s fully committed to the NBA like he once was.
Streisand Effect, this will only convince people (rightly) that tanking is real Instead of removing the incentives, Silver just tries to silence people. Thoroughly unimpressed by him as a commissioner. He likes to throw out ideas and claim he is open to changes, but nothing ever does and all the same problems remain.
Exactly. I applaud the honesty. If adam silver is that upset about it then he should further change the rules. The recent rule change isnt enough
They seriously need to move on from Dirk Nowitski. He's now arguing with his gm about tanking. I would just buy him out and force his ass to retire. Blatant tanking. It's clear they don't get it & don't care, even after the fine. I'd take away their next two first round draft picks. That'll serve 'em right. /notsrs
