We also have mouth breathers with not enough intellect to not be offended by symbolic gestures.

HYPOTHETICAL to Imagine: If we all go to a Utah Jazz game in Utah, and Jazz fans KICK YOUR SMART ASS just for wearing a Rockets shirt. And the security/police comes in then shoots your knees and spine where you cant walk again, and they get NO sentencing not even a hearing for it, all they said was "we smelled alcohol" and thats it, they get off free, you get off paralyzed...

It doesnt matter THAT much IF you actually did do inflammatory stupid crap to GET your ASS beat and to get shot at. It doesnt matter if its just "one incident" out of many. It doesnt matter if they show videos of 300 other legitimately handled examples. Its still a heavy handed form of justice that you shouldnt have gotten.

And me I'D SIT DOWN/TAKE a KNEE for YOU during whatever anthem/show of "patriotism"/solidarity they have to get some accountability in their process - instead of them trying to REMOVE it OUT OF sight off-record, sliding it under the rug. And I'd risk being called a disrespectful mouth breathing b*stard. Ultimately its not about "anti-Jazz" sentiment, or "disrespecting" Jazz fans sticking it to them. Its about the serving the PEOPLE who got mistreated. Its for the people who maybe arent able to stick up for themselves.

That is what you're failing to see, in the Kaepernick context.

Was this intended to be an intelligent response or a joke? Asking for a friend.

How is this still even remotely interesting? Whether you support or disagree - this should have been a minor blurb that was quickly forgotten, but here we are months later because some people on both sides have decided to stoke the flames.

Sometimes completely ignoring something you don't like is a much easier way to make it go away.

A friend compared him to a first year African American studies major. But like he did it in the same way Matt Damon went at the pony tail guy in Good Will Hunting. I laughed. CK is a buffon.

Kap's vote or no vote is Kap's business.

Also, can someone shed some light on this for me. Since when did participating or not participating in politics give you or take from you the right to have an opinion? And what does that mean for kids, fack 'em they can't have an opinion or ideas lol

I honestly wonder what this man would think about today. His voice would sure be one respected if only we could hear it...

Since we unfortunately can't hear from Tillman himself, here's what a few close to him think.

Tweets from a journalist that wrote extensively on the life and legacy of Pat Tillman:
The flaws of using Pat Tillman's memory to disparage Colin Kaepernick

He was anti war. He would have probably been blasted for being leftist.

I think the truth of the man is a little more complicated than that. Just about everybody is "anti-war". In any case, this subject isn't about "war".

Because of The Dotard a major protest has broken out from a random NFL player expressing his opinion.

    I can't stand Colin

But I'm a big advocate on not voting if you don't find a representative you like. You not voting is doing a huge service for the country. It may take some elections for your service to pay off, but it's inevitable. If you're in a 'lesser of two evils' situation, do not vote...

If enough people don't vote, enough being that the country is seeing record low turnouts.. that is the scariest thing for a corrupt system. That means their polls are less accurate, that means all it will take is some guy coming in unexpectedly from left field. A threat of a 3rd party is even at play with historic low voter turnout. The games Rep and Dems play behind closed doors, it's turned upside down. Their messages will turn to things that actually will benefit the country, because all it will take is forcing a 'normal' voter turnout rate to win.

Citizens deciding not to vote, low turnout is the scariest thing to a corrupt system who thinks they have the game figured out.
