Agreed. He would piss me off a few years ago when Harden first came to the Rockets, but lately he lets his whistle sing when Harden is aggressive to the basket. Harden needs to drive drive drive.

Maybe because Harden is our playmaker? Why don't they put Draymond Green in there.

I cant see the NBA letting the rockets down 0-2. I dont like to believe the leauge is rigged but i do think they try to influence the outcome of certain games the best they can even though it might not always go that way. I expect warriors to get in foul trouble tonight which would give rockets an advantage to win tonight.

New strategy: leave KD wide the hell open and go double someone instead. Let him hit that mid-range 2 uncontested since he's doing that anyways. Just no 3s! :p

Amazing that its Klay in this pic when he gets assisted on like 5 billion of his shots and never has to take more than 2 dribbles a quarter.

Or Ariza can not pick up 5 fouls to start the third Q.

Considering Durant has yet to score on him.

[hmmm] In last 8 seasons, Ariza Teams are 0-14 when he gets > 4 Fouls

They could've just thrown Green's punk ass out when he grabbed Harden by the throat like they should have and they wouldn't have to worry about trying to influence games.

Yeah, I saw that after I posted. Some good stuff and will be interesting to see how Ariza is called tonight.

This game was closer than a lot of people though, despite the final score.

Changing the way you play ??

Matt Bullard just reported on 790 the Warriors' goal each game is to make 300 passes.

Monday was their lowest pass-count this season in a Win.

When watching it live you could feel it start slipping away during the Green-Anderson minutes -- when Ariza was forced to stay on the bench with foul trouble.

Just gave a look through the refs log on the previous page, they look about as good as it can get for the Rockets, and very neutral to slightly negative for the Warriors.

My guess is we will see James, Chris, and Eric at the FT line a lot tonight.

BTW guys, the NBA did us a solid and sent David Guthrie to ref this game along with Ken Mauer and Ed Malloy. David Guthrie is the most home-team friendly ref in the league in the regular season. Home teams averaged 10.5 points/game more than the road team in games he reffed. Mauer and Malloy are pretty much closer to even between home/road teams. nbastuffer.com
