Gordon and PJ are unconscious from behind the arc.

At THIS point I would be disappointed if it took US 6 games to finish them.
Barkley said Jazz in 6. Hopefully Rox in no more than 5

So.. if we sweep, we beat Golden State.

If we extend 5+ games, we're not ready.

I'm glad Chris and Harden shot the ball well. I want to see Chris take more threes along with his mid range shots. If he has a strong shooting game, Harden should do better too.
James just needs to continue playing his all round game. I hope he will relax a bit while keeping good focus.
His floaters will fall more often if he does that.
I'm glad the team is focused on defense.

I fell asleep during the 4th...but that was a hell of a performance. No chance.

MVP doing MVP things...and the rest of the squad hitting their shots.

One of the things thats been really great to see has been the depth. Last year our depth was tested and we really had to tighten the roster to about 7 playable guys (ariza, cp3, harden, capela, pj, EG, and green). Ryno and Luc were unplayable, Nene was too slow to see serious mins vs. GSW, and joe johnson was just old.

Faried has given us a decent big with size and speed, Rivers is a very playable guard who can spell starters, and House has been huge as a versatile SF/PF.

I’ve been at work depressed all day about Harden not making the shot after crossing Rubio to Galveston and shimmying.

and yet without that imaginary player, the rockets destroy a team by 20-30

Many delightful moments in this game. But my favorite video clip was from the bench: D'Antoni watching Chris Paul diagram a play. Yes, $40M is a lot to pay for an aging PG with vulnerable hamstrings. But part of what you're getting is a coach who literally controls the ball.

In a tight game, I feel much more comfortable with CP3 getting control of the ball.

His ability to make the right play is important.

Paul has only hit 1 of 9 shots from behind the arc in the playoffs so far. That slump won't last, so I'm hoping he gets red hot in round 2. We will need him big time when we face GSW. Yes, I'd like to see him start taking more shots instead of passing, especially when James is on the bench.

as much as i'm digging that we're playing more players, I'm still not convinced D'antoni will actually utilize more than 8 players when the games are closer. I suppose 9 is a happy medium?
