Yeah, I mean considering some of the **** contracts we've seen definitely worth the money. I mean we've seen some of these really awful contracts (I'm not talking about Paul here either) but the really bad ones where the guy gets rewarded for 1/2 a good season etc.
He turned down 3 years $50 mil from Sacramento. Dang Sac was ready to spend this summer as we have seen thus far Lou/Trez were the keys to him staying in LA. I'm surprised he threw Sac's actual offer out there. you definitely don't see that much @Williamson
watching this video is like watching a crime. Beverley was supposed to retire a rocket.....he was my favorite rocket player(not harden) and gives everything he has every minute on the floor. We miss his defense, rebounding and hustle. i'm glad he finally got a good pay day. But he's definately the one that got away.
Yeah, and I said 3 year/36 million, which is much closer to the actual contract he signed... Although to be fair, there is also the Kings' offer of 3yr/50mil that he passed on.
I wish he'd have taken that. 1. I want Bev to get all of the money. 2. I love DeAaron Fox and he could use a guy like Bev by his side.
I am a huge fan of Patrick Beverley myself, and I think most other NBA players would have taken the extra $10 million in a heartbeat. Beverley would be the 3rd guard on the Kings depth chart and likely won't be playing alongside Fox much, but he'd improve the Kings' defensive mentality significantly.
per broussard? i don't know, they threw money to people that aren't worth it so the offer bev said is pretty believable
