Chris Paul is leading the league in Real Plus Minus (RPM) at http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/sort/RPM
I love James Harden. I love the Rockets. That being said you can't be serious. James Harden played with NBA MVPs Russel Westbrook and Kevin Durant. He also played with Dwight Howard. Wade won a chip without LeBron. What is your overall point because your data looks mentally unstable?
Yes and harden went to finals when he had westbrick and durant as helpers so it only goes to prove that when he has a decent star support hes a real deal. btw he (and his helpers) was also way too young then brah yeah, but he had SHAQ as help lol Howard is not a star PLUS his obsolete style of play makes him irrelevant and non factor (if not net negative player) in this modern era
Yep harden had an terrific road to the finals with okc considering he was coming off the bench. And without Harden OKC never got to the finals again. Yep Wade had Shaq how did Shaq fare in his championship post season vs howard in 15? We did't win it all in 15 not because of harden but the other way around. Just look where's the team around him is now coach, starters, and all. Trade curry with harden in 15 and gsw are still champs.
Can someone please help me understand what these statistics are called, what they measure, and where I can find them? @heypartner ? @durvasa ?

Read the comments in the tweet. He gets asked that question and answers. Fwiw: he is a college student trying to invent more stats, although he's very active. Nothing wrong with being young, but they tend to try to invent stuff for fun. RPM is ESPNs Real Plus Minus. Other stats might not be very well hashed out or accepted quite yet. Probably tweaking the coefficients of existing stats to get their control players to score like they think should. People will tweak formulas subjectively by watching how they score the top players, then turn around and call it an Objective measure (because "Stat"). I'm not always sure what that accomplishes Like comments like this from one of Jacob's buddies. What does it mean to adjust the real risk/reward of a three. Lulz. The reward is 3pts, the risk is zero pts. Those are already in the damn formulas by taking 2s instead and seeing who has the highest % Keep it simple
Howard was good in the playoffs. He was a huge reason we got to WCF. Please stop with this revisionist history BS. Harden was a big part of why OKC got to finals, but he was definitely third on the pecking order. Do some of ya'll even watch the games?
I do watch all the games he was good in PO 1st 2 years, (the 3rd year he was terrible in playoffs) but he still wasn't a STAR nor a player suitable to beat warriors and his play style was taking rockets out of rhytm and out of their game, hes not good for modern basketball and definitely not A STAR HELP
LOL westbrook fan.. you think given a chance to redo Presti/OKC will still want WB or Harden or Morey/Rockets would rather have WB over Harden? Howbout KD? would he rather have WB or Harden? 2012 playoffs KD Off Rtg 119 Def Rtg 107 Net Rtg 12 Winshares 4.0 Harden Off Rtg 118 Def Rtg 107 Net Rtg 11 Winshares 2.4 WB Off Rtg 108 Def Rtg 109 Net Rtg -1 Winshares 2.1
This was fun and looks like he is trying to build some really interesting models like the trade table links. Appreciate my man
If only Howard had agreed to do what Morey and the coaches WANTED him to do, which was to become essentially what Capela has now become, imagine how much better the Rockets would have been when Howard was here. I like DH, he's a nice guy, but between the ears, the guy just doesn't have it, and he's too stubborn to be able to learn and adapt. By the time it was time for him to go, he had become a net negative to the team, and everyone in the organization and the fanbase knew it.
Right now wasn't when I wrote that post genius. When I wrote that post Paul was struggling with his shot but we were still kicking tail because of his elite creating and distributing.
That midrange game in the playoffs will be massive in a slow paced grind games. Cp3 in the playoffs will be HUGE!
