BBQ-goers feel this all the time. Well, at the great BBQ places when they start out, anyways. "Open at 11:00am for lunch, but really we open at 8:00am and the line is 200 people by 10:00am and we're sold out by 11:00am. We're only open Saturdays and Wednesdays if Buck feels like cookin'. I LIKED the popeyes sandwich. Guess it's been too long since I'd had a CFA sandwich... after revisiting, the spiciness in the CFA breading vs. just in the sauce, quality of chicken and even bun is better than the brioche or w/e popeyes was.

I've been trying to ignore this.. going to happen this week. From initial research, find need to get there super early, so you don't get the B grade bread. They run out at some point and fill remaining orders that day from an alternate source. Looks amazing.

 

This is an insanely good idea. But you pay, to get in line and drink while you wait. Then buy your sandwich or not.

 

I went at like 5:30pm yesterday and surprised it was only 2 people ahead of me. Only took about 20 mins from walking up to ordering to grabbing my food.

 

BYOB...nobody will tell you you can't have a cooler. And if they do, then don't eat there.

Do they achieve the higher heat levels with different sauces, or just more of the same sauce as you go up?

Medium is pretty hot for a normal person. Hot is hot hot and extra hot is burning your mouth hot. There is a big difference from mild to medium.. mild is almost no heat to me.

The spice levels from eating there on Saturday did kinda mess up my stomach this weekend.. I think.
