Cherokee Nation has releases a press release informing Senator Elizabeth Warren that her DNA test is worthless to determine tribal citizenship.

So, Cherokee Nation has just accused Senator Warren of the worst kind of cultural appropriation - the actual improper appropriation of a culture, not her own. They have accused her of making a mockery out of DNA Tests and of dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens. They have also flatly rejected her claims of tribal heritage with the Cherokees.

And with that, in all likelihood, Senator Warren's presidential aspirations draw to a close.

So there isn't a foundation, Benghazi, emails, or "pay to play" for Warren huh.

    Lulz

That time Elizabeth Warren claimed to be a member of Cherokee Nation and The Donald promised to donate $1,000,000 to the charity of her choice if she could prove she was on the rolls...

    That's what happened, right?

She claimed to be of Cherokee ancestry without need of application. She claims to be an 'undocumented' Cherokee.

    LOL.

She didn't apply for citizenship she said she has Native American ancestry and the test results show she does. Trump needs to pay up.

Even Dems think Warren is stupid for bringing this up.

I actually agree with this. Warren is falling for Trump's bait.

Warren is practically clean when it comes to her personal history besides standard disagreement about ideology.

Ignoring the only talking point that attacks her personal character that by the end of the day is rather trivial would have been her best option.

    She isn't on the rolls.

And more importantly, The Donald never promised that. It's hilarious watching people swallow the lies of the fake news.

I saw the speech live. He said IF she ran for president, and IF he found himself on the debate stage with her, he may throw a DNA kit her way and offer $1,000,000 to the charity of her choice if she ended up having NA ancestry.

That's a far cry from the lies the fake news is peddling.

So on a debate stage he would throw a DNA kit at her? Oh...

So in the video, Elizabeth Warren specifically states that she isn't trying to claim membership in the Cherokee nation. She's never done that. She never used the claim that she was Native American as part of an application for a job. Once she had the job as a professor, she filled that out in an information page for the University. She didn't use it to gain a job or anything even close.

You have to understand that she is a potential presidental candidate and that she has no secret emails or a giant foundation where "pay to play" allegations can be brought up.

What else can they do? This is the best they can do .

Not really though. Showing that you are something like 1/512th, potentially less, native American is essentially saying you are not Native American. She should have just admitted that she was lying when she said she was native American and moved on. Now she's made this an even bigger deal than it otherwise would have been.

There is a difference between lying and believing what you parents told you.

Given that she stated her heritage only on a trivial list rather than an actual job application tells me that she genuinely believes her parents.

Very sad. What's funny is that this is what makes them fired up. Nothing regarding actual issues or anything of import. This is what gets them frothing at the mouth. LOL.

She never claimed she was Native American. She claimed he family told her she had Native American in their family ancestry. That is accurate. She does have Native American family ancestry.

Besides, who are we comparing to? She could claim that the DNA test shows that she's 100% Cherokee and that would be a lie, but she would still be 1000% more honest than the person she would be running against as President.

Because fighting issues means justfying gutting agencies like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau that she helped create which saved average many Americans from predatory banking practices.

They don't want a dumbass like Trump to go on a nuanced policy debate with Warren. She would slap him around silly in that regard. Even the Trump apologists in this very thread understand this. He would look silly even attempting to try it. This is the only angle he's got towards her.

I can imagine 3 presidential debates, dozens of campaign rallies where this lone attacking pooint is just going to sound horribly redundant.
