if they trade him, they might as well trade conley too. No point in a half ass rebuild.

Well Boston desperately needs a big, rim protection etc...Marc and Horford would be an amazing duo to watch.

if boston somehow got marc, that seriously puts them in as the 2nd best team in the league and a GS match would be very interesting

Gasol, Horford, Hayward and IT? That team would own the Cavs.

    IT
    Defender (3 and D)
    Hayward
    Horford
    Gasol

That team is very interesting even against GSW. GSW got no one to match up to Gasol and Horford duo

This is soo funny we aren't playing in the 80s, their best player is a white guy and their second best player is under 6 ft. They have no chance against Lebron.

The second best player in the East is Joel Embiid. The Cavs are going to sweep their way to the finals. Yawn.

Sorry but Boston will get the number 1 seed once again and be the east favorite. Save this quote.

Celtics are not done ofcourse because they must do a trade first.
Which one? Smart, Bradley or Crowder?
    That's the question here.

Gasol most likely won't even be available to be traded this year. Maybe next.

The problem is will Ainge actually part with assets to do such a trade? Memphis is probably willing to do the trade, but it's going to cost the Celtics pretty much all of their future assets...which they hardly ever part with...it does make sense that they wouldn't sit on their assets and signing Gordon means they should be more aggressive, I suppose we'll see.

Some good that 1 seed did them this year. When Lebron actually plays in the playoffs. That was a laugher of a series just like it will be this year.

In all honesty, is getting Gordon Hayward even a plus for the Celtics if they have to lose 4 or 5 key contributors to their team last year? They were only good because of their depth.

The only reason they even won 1 game last year was because of Marcus Smart, and he is probably no longer on the team.
Do Celtics even beat the Wizards without Kelly Olynyk and Terry Rozier who are no longer on the team.

Who are they going to lose between Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley.

If the trade was Smart, Olynyk, Rozier, and either Crowder or Bradley for Hayward would you even do it? Not like Hayward is Kevin Durant. He couldn't even make an ALL NBA team and you think Lebron is going to be scared?

no way they're done they have

    2 1st 2018
    3 1st 2019
    crowder
    smart
    bradley
    tatum
    brown

this can get you whoever you want really unless its from a contender maybe

them not getting paul george worked out good for them and the extra pic danny got in this draft if tatum is solid

Should offer all of that to the Cavs for Lebron. Then they can win the east.

I agree, BUT, the best possible return for Memphis would be now.

If you think about it, if Memphis decides to be proactive after watching the west get stronger while getting weaker, the best thing would be to trade both Gasol and Conley while they still can for the biggest return possible.

I thought about this before this report. Gasol would for sure put them in the Detroit pistons team type of scenario.

Followed by checking the market for Conley, hello Denver.

I did forget about Giannis who is probably the second best. But after that its probably Embiid. Who do you think is better than him? Did ya'll watch him play last year. That guy is the truth, health may derail his career but on talent alone its not even close.

His PER 36 averages last year woulda been. He might be the best player in the league in a few years. Trust the Process.
    28.7 pts 11.1 Rebounds 3 Assists 1.2 Steals 3.5 Blocks on 47% fg 37% 3pts and 78% free throws.

    That doesn't mean he's available.
Memphis is not a team that will rebuild easily and it will only do so if they have no choice.
First the GM has to have incredible job security- which he hasn't. The owner must be willing. The smaller market you are the more difficult is for you to decide to rebuild.

Now if the Celtics offered like multiple PREMIUM assets and they blew the Grizzlies away and they also found someone to trade for Conley then maybe.
But I give 0% chance to Ainge trading these assets for Gasol.

It's almost sure that Gasol won't be available or traded this year.
