The writer of this from the Chicago Sun-Times also said this is the same article

Meanwhile, Cowley added Irving has been contacting fellow Team USA players to inform them "he might be willing to push for a trade" due to the ongoing drama.
Wait? Is he saying Irving might want out?

This rumor is very hard for me to believe. Sounds like a pure fabrication.

If it's just one Cavs player that said it, that is believable.

How would this "team source" know for sure that no Cavs players have said this to Butler?

Battle of two totally unreliable sources! They've created a paradox! They are both almost assuredly wrong but that means they'd both have to be right which would make the other wrong!!!! It's an impossibility!

    We're all gonna die!

There is only one Cavs players. What is he saying.

The Chicago SunTimes writer source is "According to a Cleveland source close to the situation". The second hand article you posted makes it sound like Crowley sources are actual players who spoke to Butler. Everything is once or twice removed.

    -------------------------------

Btw: it would have been pretty simple for you to post the actual source article. Lazy ppl post the secondhand tweet from sites recycling the news. :p

Here's the Crowley article. Appears prettty much fake news to me as he's all over the place, talking about how Irving might want to come to Bulls, etc. the whole article is about Making the Bulls Great Again

    Actual Source Article

Like I said, totally unreliable sources on both ends. It's like the National Inquirer denying a story published by The Onion.
