This would be such a balance lineup. You have a nice combination of righties sprinkle with a couple of lefties.

I would agree. Vets with youth as well.

The pieces of the puzzle may fit.
Kings looked like where Ryan Anderson was headed before we/Rockets signed him. So they may still favor Ryno.
His numbers may show Ryno possibly shooting 40%-plus from 3 while spacing the floor for their young layers
at home and away. Defense won’t be an issue since they won’t be pushing for contention this year. Ryan’s final
year will be an enticing expiring contract.

Reports/articles Kings/Rockets have been talking Ryno trade.
Reports/articles Rockets are interested in Rodney Hood.
    Reports/articles Rockets want Melo.
Kings traded for Ben McLemore which created space coincidentally

    1) Melo reportedly bought out/ traded/ stretched.
Melo traded then buy-out. Rockets have been waiting for this.

    2) Reports Melo is saying he will be with the Rockets. Melo the remaining MLE

    3) Trade Anderson plus other(s) to Kings. Creates room for another key player for the Rockets.

    4) Go for the Hood. Only reason I think the Rockets send out Ryno and trade away key 1st rounders & possibly
young talent like a Melton or Qi is to get someone like Hood......not max money expensive and not too raw that
the chance is so great. Numbers in Cleveland sucked but his numbers in Utah were excellent. Morey went big
on Bazemore when he struck out......Hood could be our next Bazemore (only a little better).

    5) then sign Capela. I think Capela holds out no longer than December. He needs to show other teams he was not
    just a one hit wonder.

Side note: if no Hood because Cavs match. Morey will have a plan B on that situation as well.

Uhhhh...I thought we were over the cap and moving Anderson wouldn't clear anything up?

I am not too fond of Carmelo, a talented player but I dont see him starting with the beard. He would be good in minutes the Beard is out.

I would be thrilled for us to get Hood (at the right price), but it's hard to see Cleveland trading Hood on a new deal too high for them that still permits Houston to stay under the Luxury Tax Apron (required after a S&T like this one).

We won’t be doing a S&T, because it’s basically impossible. It would hard cap us.

Yeah I'm thinking LeBron has them shell shocked with repeater tax and they have $13 mil to get to threshold. Could the Rockets free up $20 mil plus of Ryan Anderson plus Nanu and only take back D'Anthony Davis? Offer Hood about $15 mil......if we have to take back Koufos?

Koufos might come in handy if we have to include Zhou Qi and Capela holds out for a few months.

Would Cavs go over $123 mil... Even for just a few miles over?

There was about 3 teams that Houston could trade with far enough under the Soft cap. Hawks were one team before they trade for Melo. Kings are another.

Melo won't be SF. You are crazy to suggest that. As the expert analyst say.....in the NBS you are drfined in position by who you guard. Melo is not guarding quicker players out on the perimeter. Just saying.

Ennis will be starting SF until MCW/Edwards/J Taylor or Gerald Green beat him out....again at small forward.
