Can’t CP3 Just Ask LBJ If He Wants To Play In Houston?

    Can’t DM just have CP3 point blank ask LBJ if he wants to play in Houston? Why keep waiting around figuring out if we have a shot at landing him.....If the reports are true that he is only considering Cleveland or LA wouldn’t he just come out and tell CP3 they are best friends.

    Realistically the only way we land him is thru a trade so by him telling us yes or no there is no leverage lost on his end.

    Cleveland trades him to Houston for Ryan Anderson and 1-2 first round picks or he walks and joins LA and Cleveland gets nothing.

    So many times we have waited around just to have all the other FA sign with other teams.

    Didn't he not even tell Dwyane until like the last minute that he was leaving Miami? Wasn't there some contract stuff that Wade or Bosh agreed to as well because of the uncertainty? Kinda vague recollection of it but that's what I remember.

    Doesn't sound like Lebron would tell him.

    But that really brings up another question. Why is it THAT much of a secret where Lebron is going? I get it that he's the best in the game and his presence would change the landscape of the NBA, but it's not we're talking about the intercepting German telegraphs in WW2. His secrecy means nothing when the world will know in about a few weeks.

    Fair chance CP3 has asked the question. Maybe he knows, maybe he doesnt.
    But regardless, I don't think CP3 is gonna post it here as an insider or call Windhurst.
    We'll know when LBJ has announced it. The decision Pt3!

    He's certainly asked him.

    SAS has said he's heard from people who've heard from CP3 that Lebron isn't interested.
    Woj says CP3 is trying hard to convince him to come to Houston.

    The reality is Lebron doesn't like to be in awkward situations. He's super passive aggressive and hedges on everything. He's probably talking to CP3, but until he makes up his mind he's probably just smiling and nodding. Wade didn't know until Lebron announced via that SI report. The Cavs didn't know either. He didn't even bother to tell Bosh lol.
