He has the body of one, but doesn't play like it. He is a raw backup 4 in a 3's body. 3's and shot blocking are his tools.
Sorry, if it's already been posted. My opinion is that Giannis' skill set is much different than Bruno's. Bruno has to play to his strengths. He needs to work very hard, in order to become an NBA contributor. No one can make him one.
Ran a google search on this guy and looked at the source code. Source code started off with... Spoiler
His game is small forward. When he was moved to the post he struggled with the physicality. He's most effective as a small forward
Capela and Cabolclo -- Swiss Chocolate! Both are young and athletic. Capela can assist Caboclo in Swiss when the latter gets "lost" on a play, assuming one is playing center and the other power forward. Not many players will be able to intercept their communications. I look forward to this experiment.
Not just players, Morey rescued this dog from a shelter, and look at him now. 4-4 and an assist. But he probably likes the game more than Caboclo, and with a higher ball IQ.
Bruno Caboclo, glad you're here especially after Anderson's pathetic year We will help you develop your defense like nobody could with your outstretched arms hovering over our court's varnished wood. When I saw your name I thought "Who is that?" But I am all for adding another Brazilian cat. So welcome to Houston, I wish you the best, and I hope you become our future defensive pest. Forget Toronto, and forget Sacramento too, because they are losers for just giving up on you. It's time to show those Canadians and Cali kooks, that you are still young, and can play some great hoops. Here's to your future in Houston young man, We have faith in you showing everyone you weren't a flash in the pan. Take this opportunity, run with it, and learn from our guys, and show everyone that determination and drive in your eyes. So again, welcome to Houston, I'm glad you are here, we can use you to help us win the Championship this year. I have faith in this team, I have faith in you too, and it's out with the old, and in with the new!! Go Rockets!!!
I would agree, but his wingspan is just so long. If it was like a 6'7'' dude with an average wingspan (Morris twins, for example), then yeah, tweener all the way. But I think Caboclo can easily play the 4 and spot minutes at the 5.
He has a good skill set to develop on. 905 was good for him, and so will the RGV. He needs to play with more self belief. Perhaps getting stronger, might help him with contact. That doesn't mean that he needs to get big. Nene can help him out a lot, because he still shows brief flashes of toughness on rare occasions, despite his aging years.
