China literally makes money from stealing IP from companies in capitalist societies, and most of their wealthy elite educate their children in the US or Europe. Aren’t they still commies?

If nets and area is worth 3.5 billion, imagine what Knicks and msg is worth. Msg area is worth more than Barclay.

This is how you make money from sports team, tilman.

Toyota center was paid for by the city of Houston cause the greedy and cheapskate Les Alexander threatened to move the team to Kentucky

But the challenge is that Dolan is an awful owner and the Knicks are an awful team. And with the Nets getting strong ownership and strong management, MSG and the Knicks stand to start losing value because their fanbase and associated revenue will start to leave MSG and head into YES and the Nets...

Again, I was here talking about the Nets and Joe Tsai. @jayland is the one who brought Lin into this thread, asking if Lin and Tsai were friendly. All I did was respond to his question with some details. And then you started asking more questions about Lin. I am not the one here who brought Lin into this discussion.

    No.

    https://forebears.io/surnames/tsai

Chai is a Chinese surname that derives from the name of the ancient Cai state. It is regionally more common in China's Fujian Province and in areas settled by ethnic Chinese from that province than in China as a whole. The surname is the 34th most common surname in China, but the 9th most common in Taiwan, where it is usually romanized as Tsai based on Wade-Giles romanization of Standard Mandarin and the 8th most common in Singapore, where it is usually romanized as Chua, which is based on Hokkien pronunciation. It is also a common Cantonese name in Hong Kong where it is romanized as Choy, Choi or Tsoi, in Macao and Malaysia, it's spelled as Choi, in Malaysia and the Philippines as Chua, in Thailand as Chuo (ฉั่ว). Moreover, it is also romanized in Cambodia as either Chhay, Chhuor or Chhor among Chinese Cambodians.

This surname comes from a Chinese character of several meanings, one of which is 'wild grass', another is a name of a state in ancient China.

I don't mean to bring your excitement down but from my experience watching multiple new owners, it's better to get ready for some stupid moves.
New owners lack the experience and the skills and need time so they always make shortsighted moves and want to bring their own people in and leak stuff to the press and can't keep their mouth shut.

So far, Joe Tsai has done everything right, including not interfering when his GM wanted to trade away his favorite player. Everything I've read about Joe has been incredibly positive, so I am very hopeful that the Nets will continue to do things the right way.
