Since July 10 Bregman is slashing .318/.401/.639 and he has struck out 12 times in 137 PA against 15 walks.

Looking more and more like a big 4. There is very little in his statistical makeup that would throw any doubt into his awesome performance this year.

No, as good and talented as Correa is, young ARod pre drugs was a Mike Trout level once in a generation player.

It's really not fair to hold CC to that standard, I'm guilty of it myself.

To the point: I've been high on Bregman since his last CWS, it's great to see him living up to it in the bigs. Remember, this is his 3rd year of pro ball.

Carlos Correa was hitting .320/.400/.566 when he got hurt. That is very ARod-esque. ARod had a ridiculous 1st season, but his age 21 & 22 seasons are very similar to Correa's. Correa was looking like a truly generational talent.

Correa's 165 OPS+ would best all but ARod's 2 best, which both came with the Yankees.

Bregman has an .850 OPS. He's 23, in his first full season in the majors. He's a freaking stud.

    Springer
    Bregman
    Altuve
    Correa
    Reddick
    Gurriel
    Marwin
    McCann
    Beltran / Gattis / Fisher

is an absolutely ridiculous lineup that can win the World Series this year. I still believe.

And in the playoffs, none of us will care if they win every game 10-9.

    (actually a few may)

I agree with you, but how likely is it that the Astros or any team wins a lot of 10-9 games in the playoffs?

I think we just need everyone healthy..... If we have everyone healthy, and playing like they should, we have a good shot.

The rotation can go three deep with Kuechel, McCullers and Peacock

The pen is potentially deep with.... Giles, Musgrove, Harris and Devo leading the way.

The line up is very deep and doesn't strike out.... Bregman has continued to improve as well.

Hyperbolic statement. In the playoffs, no one (should) cares about the final score. Just whether they win or lose.

We have him locked down for 5 more seasons.

We have 4 superstar middle infielders, that gives us an insane amount of roster flexibility.
