Nobody on this board has said that Correa will hit more career home runs than ARod...

You must have been on vacation from the forum in May when Correa was on fire. That or you were scanning your collection of Dak autographs. ;)

To be fair you've seemed to be more preoccupied in proving to us all that his home runs don't go very far.

That is the other dude trying to prove how far they go. He got off on a tangent and can't let it go. You'll see he always posts first. I try to bring it back to power each time to get him back on the right track. This was and is about power trajecting to career home runs.

Its pretty safe to say that you brought up the "tangent"... that Correa doesn't hit far HR's... because of some arbitrary list that actually puts pitchers like Jeff Samardzia, and other one-hit HR wonders, above him.

I also posted the same stat about the players with 9 or more home runs right? All to illustrate the point objectively. Notice he didn't bring that up when posting, but I let it go thinking you guys would recognize it was right there.

Why'd you choose 9? Why not 20? Why even bring it up at all?

    Hence the tangent...

The site statisticians pick the number. Not me. It changes throughout the season as statistically relevant as players who qualify. It's a home run tracking and projecting data set.

    what is power?
(not trolling for someone to post a kanye video)
I thought anyone in the pre roid era who could hit 30-40 homers and 20+doubles was considered hitting for,
"power". All I have to do is see how effortless correa's swing is to know he can drive that ball without that much effort add some moose antler to that swing and voila

It's just a joke that we are even talking about this. Sure, if people were suggesting Correa is gonna match A-Rod's home run numbers then that is ridiculous. You should have realized that from the jump and let it go.

But you have full control on what lists you cite and simply bringing up this data to begin with.

You know its a bunk list... especially when it includes pitchers or terrible hitters who happen to "run into one" from time to time.

He's not a fan. He's a douchebag that works for 610. But then again, "douchebag" and "works for 610" are fairly redundant so....

I hope you know that nothing I said was directed at you...I just saw Max's post and replied.

Have you ever had a Dark Gringo?

Take a pineapple and rub it on the edge of the glass, then dip in sugar
Take a torch and caramelize the glass
    Dark rum
    Tequila Anejo
    Cinnamon, allspice, star anise, etc...
    Set the glass on fire
    Stout coffee, cooled
Scoop of Mexican vanilla ice cream

Drizzle a little salt around the table, ignore it, throw the rest over your shoulder, then do a key bump.

Stagger down 2 flights of curvy stairs.

I think the name of the place in Vallarta was Tres Arbolitas, could've bee "Los..."

It's all good Buck. I wasn't being serious either but its hard to tell I guess on a message board.

Dark Gringo? Sounds groovy. Not sure I have any Mexican vanilla ice cream and I'm out of yayo at the moment so may have to sub the key bump for something else.

Why is this a debate? If correa took steroids like Arod did then it would be a fair and worthwhile discussion. Their power is likely very much on par with each other if Arod didn't juice.
