The Week is simply regurgitating mccarthy's feeble effort to spin this for trump. First, Majority Leader (Nancy) Pelosi said no money for a *wall*. Democrats have long been agreeable to spending more on border security, including technology and even fencing where needed. But if it helps trump feel better going 0-3 versus Nancy... sure, think of it as an Consolation prize... But...trump wants a wall.
Hmm... I wonder who the worse criminal is, the illegal immigrants trying to get into the country for a better life, or the owner of country clubs and hotels that illegal immigrants as a way to save money and get their cheap labor needs filled? Trump Golf Club Allegedly Employed Undocumented Immigrants https://www.npr.org/2018/12/07/674576373/trump-golf-club-allegedly-employed-undocumented-immigrants Trump Golf Club managers knew for years many employees were illegal, but just now fired them http://www.fox32chicago.com/news/na...mployees-were-illegal-but-just-now-fired-them Trump golf club fired 12 workers living in the U.S. illegally, lawyer says https://www.aol.com/article/news/20...ing-in-the-us-illegally-lawyer-says/23654658/
Mr. trump is a corrupt, mentally ill, compulsive liar and quite possibly a traitor, in my humble opinion.
Is this a joke? I find it hilarious how you Trumpets always portray this disgusting, obese orange piece of **** as this virile and muscular hero It's almost as bad as Ben Garrison's portrayals in his ridiculous comics
If trump is stupid enough to do this, and he is pretty freakin' stupid, it will blow up in his face. He is handing Democrats yet another thing to run on in 2020, while screwing over the country for his vanity project.
Do you not see why the picture is... funny? It is called humor through juxtaposition. But now it isn't funny because I had to explain it.
lol...if that qualifies as capitulation then what does it mean when trump turned down $25 billion for the wall and ended up with $1.375 billion? nancy went from $0 to $1.375 trump went from $25 to $1.375 is that the art of the deal? ...lol
A huge failure of Trump. He is going to try to blur reality like he talks about in his book. He will try to now act like the Wall is "started" so in the election he can use "finish the wall" as a slogan. He doesn't need but a mile built and he can blur things on some of his base. "The only way you're going to make the deal you want, he says, is if you're coming from a position of strength and can convince the other side that you have something they need. Trump says he's not afraid to blur reality to utilize leverage. "When the board of Holiday Inn was considering whether to enter into a partnership with me in Atlantic City, they were attracted to my site because they believed my construction was farther along than that of any other potential partner." "In reality," he writes, "I wasn't that far along, but I did everything I could, short of going to work at the site myself, to assure them that my casino was practically finished. My leverage came from confirming an impression they were already predisposed to believe."|
i wonder what the mayor of atlantic city, chris christie thought about that. im still lol'ing over the claim you made that beto is mayor of el paso...you made my morning dude! haha.
Common now, that's a bit forced isn't it? Oh well, at least you had some joy to your life, even at my expense. Have a fine day.
Not the wrong people for him he seems to hate the middle class and that would be people from Alabama or Louisiana.
or could it be most of these illegal aliens used FAKE documents and SS# to to deceive these businesses in order to get a job. Oh yeah, talk about some "better life" uh
GOP Rep: "In hindsight, [the government shutdown] didn't help us. You have to ignore reality to say anything different. It didn't help us. The deal we ended up with now is worse than we had before the shutdown."
Or they didn’t care regardless since they could save money with cheaper labor. I mean if a HEB logistics center was raided in Texas.... that would severely disrupt HEB’s business in that region. Conservatives need to be honest with themselves about this huge underclass of laborers that do the many things that make this country function behind the scenes. We need rational, not emotional arguments about this.
