Tore posters and yelled vs. murdered someone with a car.

I wonder why the presidents equivocation has upset people.

    Keep grasping at straws

The police did do a great job. And huge credit to them, an examples for others city to follow. I don't know absent them if this would go out of control, but it's fair to said it very well could based on the recent past event.

I didn't said much about the crowd, just the event. As for the crowd, I don't know and I don't think you do either, as to how many antifa was there. We also do not who are the 27 arrested. If I have to take a guess, of the 40k, a very small % was antifa, or other groups looking for trouble.

In one of these scenarios the cops showed up.

You don't justify violence by saying its not murder.

That's a statement from the organizers of the rally. Again, how is this an alt-right rally? And why are there counter-protesters for free speech?

Did i justify it? No. The problem with all these conservative people, like yourself, is that you believe liberals are incapable of admitting fault or wrong.

I had just condemned any act of violence that happened today. Not in general like you guys need.

Again the violence today is wrong. I wish we could have 2 groups gather and voice their opinions.

Sounds like the event today was largely a success. I enjoyed the videos of police together with the crowd chanting. The police did a nice job de-escalating some tense situations.

I'm glad it was largely peaceful. Hopefully, we can continue to scale back any violence.

Zero terrorist attacks at the Boston event, and there was one at the Charlottesville event.

I was in Charlottesville today. The statue of Robert E Lee is still there.

I laid some flowers at the site of where the girl died. Tragic.

It's a percentage for idiots who don't understand what percentages do. Was it possible to arrest 40,000? No so the 40,000 shouldn't be included. How many arrests were needed to keep the crown under control were how many they made. An unruly crowd needs to see arrests being made behind the control line.

Unless the people saying that are also stupid enough to claim only 27 people broke the law.

I remember seeing that part live, still my favorite part was the one black Trump supporter who wandered into the park where the BLM types were gathered and was immediately surrounded by white people yelling at him "know your race" and telling him how his kind wasn't allowed in the park.

You know, the more things change....

People are mostly counter-protesting the Charlottesville Nazis, actually.

I don't know much about Shiva Ayyadurai, but I heard he claims to have invented email and calls himself the "real Indian" to defeat "fake Indian" Senator Warren.

Good job by the cops. It doesnt take much to keep these groups separated especially when the masked ones are actually cowards.

I agree. I feel that the removal of statues should be decided per each community.

It's crazy how much I had to argue that point with people here who simply refused to believe it.
